2006 - Built Green Home at Suncadia
Located in Washington state, Suncadia is a Built Green 6,000-plus-acre, four-star, four-season resort located 80 miles from Seattle. In keeping with the Green Built standards, CMI specified Rinnai tankless water heaters to provide energy efficient, environmentally friendly water heating in this new home. Two exterior mount tankless water heaters were installed to provide hot water throughout the home.
As an innovative home in the Sourthern Building Show, McConnell Homes has built an exciting four-story home that features generous living space on a modest size footprint in one of Atlanta's most popular in-town neighborhoods. Two Rinnai R85i units were installed in series in the upper level attic space to provide hot water to the 2nd level and the finished areas of the upper floors. In addition, a single R85i unit was installed in the basement to service the kitchen, office, bath and powder room.
As a feature during this year's Southern Building Show, Joe Maddox has renovated this circa-1935 cottage and transformed it from a small, outdated house into a spacious, state-of-the-art EarthCraft House Renovation project. Two Rinnai R85i units were installed, one R85i in the upper level attic space to provide hot water to the 2nd level, and one in the basement to provide hot water to the main floor and basement areas.
